Respirator filtering exhaling valve - has roof-shaped air guide forming gap with mask body and with turbulence-producing bead

The respirator connection (1) consists of a mask body (2) with exhaling valve (3) positioned in the vicinity of the mouth and an air guide assembly (4), which extends like a roof over the exhaling valve. The air guiding assembly (4) forms with the mask bedy (2) a gap (5), while the guide assembly itself is designed to facilitate optimum scavenging by having a circular, conical or asymmetrical shape. A pref. device is in the form of a bead (6) bordering the air guide assembly (4). The bead produces turbulence, which has a beneficial effect on the scavenging process. The bead can have a cylindrical cross section.
