<p>The time multiplex control system for a number of receiving stations receiving control signals from a central transmitting station, uses control signals with sections which are transmitted at a high frequency. The timing circuit which controls this frequency has timed groups of time constants which are independent of periodic signals received by the receiving section of the central transmitting station, are released in synchronism. The central transmitter sends continuous signals at a high frequency differing from the frequency of the common control signals. The timing system uses a quartz controlled clock pulse generator connected to a divider followed by a ring counter connected by an AND gate and delay system to the transmitter. This keeps the time constants constant corresponding to the time period of the periodic signals. The divider and a phase equaliser controls the clock pulse frequency so that it is maintained as a multiple of the synchronising frequency and the divider chain of the clock pulses is of the same phase as the synchronising signals.</p> |
