<p>The method is used for renewing the running surface of long distance skis, esp. those made of plastics. The running surface is glued and pressed on to a lower holding belt which limits the inner core. The worn running surface covering (6) is first planed down equally over the whole of its length at least up to the depth of any indented scratches, then a new running surface is glued on and then pressed home. The damaged layer is planed off only far enough to ensure that the layer next to the holding belt is retained.</p> |
