<p>The paper clip comprises two detachable parts and is used in conjunction with punched holes in the corners of superimposed paper sheets. The two parts are positioned on the top and bottom major face respectively of the subject pile of sheets. They will not pass through the aligned holes, and connect or attach to one another through the holes to secure the papers. The two parts are pressed together to effect their connection, the joint using glue, adhesive, self-adhesive, self-gripping fibrous hooks, magnetic bodies or magnetic coatings. The bottom part may comprise the bottom sheet itself.</p> |
