PURPOSE:To prevent the remaining of a flux while improving electrical characteristics such as the delay of the extinction of currents by using ammonium chloride as the flux. CONSTITUTION:Ammonium chloride of several dozen percents or below is added to the powder of cadmium sulfide or the powder of cadmium sulfide and cadmium selenium as proper activating agent and flux. The mixture is dissolved in water, applied on a heat resisting insulating substrate and dried, and heated at a temperature of approximate 580 deg., thus forming the sintered layers of cadmium sulfide and cadmium selenium on the substrate. |
