<p>The emergency parachute is released by a cord (7') one end of which is connected to the pack (2) containing the emergency parachute. The other end of the cord is attached to at least one of the harness straps (3,4) of the main parachute to slide using a belt (6) linking the harness straps. This belt pulls the cord and releases the emergency parachute when the last free harness strap (3,4) has detached from the parachutist (1).</p> |
