<p>The bed cover or sheet, incorporates at least one elongate conductor connected to earth or to an electrical counterbalance. The conductor is arranged so that it contacts the sleeper's body. Pref. the bed cover or sheet is rectangular and has a number of conductors extending across its surface which are joined to one another and arranged so that at least one is always in contact with the sleeper's body. Each of the conductors may be formed by metal threads incorporated in the fabric of the bed cover or sheet. The conductors are connected to earth by a common earth connection at one corner of the bed cover or sheet. Pref. at least some of the metal threads are of gold for simultaneously giving an aesthetic appearance. The bed cover or sheet is designed to be comfortable and to aid restful sleep.</p> |
