A bury rubber composition having excellent mechanical strength as well as high heat resistance, ozone resistance and damping properties comprises 90-60 parts by weight of butyl rubber, 10-40 parts by weight of halogenated butyl rubber, and not more than 50 parts by weight of carbon black based on 100 parts by weight of the total amount of the above rubber components. In this composition, a part of the rubber components may be replaced by ethylene-propylene terpolymer. |
