A lever is mounted on a spindle attached to the door leaf, and has its tongue brought into engagement with a closing hook or lug on the door case during closure. It is used in a closing mechanism for heavy doors, such as fire-retarding doors. The lever (12) and tongue (10) consist of two pieces, joined to each other by a claw coupling adjustable in an angular pattern about the closure spindle. This pref. comprises a protrusion running out from the mounting ring face of the tongue, and a series of fitting recesses in the mounting ring face of the lever. This permits ready adaptation to any type of mounting.
|
