<p>The controller has a reference value generator (16,17) providing daytime and nighttime heating curves and a regulator (11) controlling the fuel valve (9) to give a pulse/pause ratio with a constant period. The circulation temp. is dependant on this pulse/pause ratio and is monitored by comparison with limit values adjusted by a daytime/nighttime switch (22) in dependence on the outside temp. Pref. when the heating system is initially switched from nighttime to daytime operation the max. limit for the water circulation temp. can be raised in dependence on the outside temp. to allow rapid heating up, the fuel valve (9) remaining open until the max. circulation temp. is attained. The water is pref. heated via a gas boiler (7), the controller being designed for fuel economy.</p> |
