<p>Benzylidene derivatives of the formula: <IMAGE> in which n and m are each 1, 2 or 3, R1 is a hydrogen or halogen atom, R2 is a hydrogen or halogen atom, R3 and R4 independently of one another are each a hydrogen atom or an allyl or acyl radical, R5 is a hydrogen atom or an allyl radical, and R6 is an amino alkylamino, dialkylamino or hydroxyallylamino group, or a nitrogen-containing heterocyclic ring which can contain another hetero-atom and can carry an alkyl radical, the said allyl radicals having from 1 to 4 carbon atoms, are useful in therapy in the treatment of, for example, epilepsy, convulsions and anxiety. They may be made by reaction of a compound of the formula: <IMAGE> with an amino compound of formula <IMAGE> or the hydrochloride thereof.</p> |
