PURPOSE:To early remove overheat as well as prevent the wasteful use of gas in a combustion controller having a gas burner and the like by forcibly stopping combustion when the temperature of the supplied hot water does not lower even if a given period of time has passed. CONSTITUTION:When a switch SW of a main valve driving circuit 6 is turned ON by operating a knob 5, by the current from a resistor R1 in a circuit 12, the main valve driving circuit including transistors Tr1 and Tr2 is allowed to conduct to open a main valve 4. At the same time, a water valve 13 is opened, and a pilot burner 2 is ignited by the spark produced by an ignition circuit 8. When the flame of said burner 2 is detected, a proportional valve driving circuit 9 is controlled by the output of a contrl circuit 11 according to the terminal output of a thermistor 10 when an FET gate (G) in the control circuit 11 is conducting. The FET gate (G) is stopped from conducting by the output of a transistor Tr4 which is turned ON when the temperature of the supplied hot water detected by the thermistor 10 is higher than a given temperature for a given period of time. |
