UNINTERRUPTIBLE POWER SOURCE DEVICE

PURPOSE:To enable uninterruptible switching and to realize uniform bearing of load, by controlling an inverter in second power source device based on differences between effective and reactive powers to be fed to a load and effective and reactive powers to be produced from the inverter. CONSTITUTION:A commercial power source 1 is connected through an A.C. thyristor switch 2a to an output bus 3. A first power source device 4 converts power from an A.C. power source 5 through a converter 11 then inverts the converted power through a D.C. conversion L inverter 14 and feeds the inverted power through a thyristor switch 2b to the output bus 3. A second power source device 7 juxtaposed to the power source device 5 outputs the power converted through a converter 21 and an inverter 24 to the output bus 3 through a thyristor switch 2c. Voltage and current of the output bus 3 are detected through a potential transformer 40L and a current transformer 50L so as to obtain an effective power and a reactive power. Output voltage and current of the inverter 2d are obtained similarly through a potential transformer 40I and a current transformer 50I so as to obtain an effective power and reactive power thus making control of the second power source device based on the differences between the effective powers and reactive powers.
