A method for continuously manufacturing, finishing and preshrinking fabric is described. Thus, griege fabric is padded with finishing liquid including moisture content between 15 and 30 %, partially dried to a moisture content between o-20 %. Specifically the fabric is woven blue denim, partially dried after padding by a series of hot rolls, and preshrunk in a rubber belt compressive shrinking unit. partiallydried wet fabric processes better than moistened dry fabric, because liquid dispersal is more uniform.
