<p>Latent, sensitizing inks for application to selected areas of substrates by conventional printing methods. The inks comprise a vehicle component which is a nonpolymeric, oleophilic, organic acid anion having a cationic counterion and, in combination with said vehicle component, a thinner, a particulate filler and a polymeric, hydrocarbon, theremoplastic terpene resin which enhances imaging characteristics and allows the use of reduced filler loadings in the composition. The latent inks also include at least one color-generating component.</p> |
