PURPOSE:To make a circuit constitution simple and cheap and obtain a highly precise circuit, by giving a self-holding function to an analogue comparator and by adding a limiter element to the output. CONSTITUTION:In the initial state, when the output of analogue comparator 5 is high-level, it is clipped by resistor 20 and Zener diodes +V3 21 and -V3 22 and is applied to not only resistor 18 but also resistor 12 of integrator 16. Integrator 16 starts the integrating operation by the modulation input signal and the clipped signal; and when the input signal of comparator 5 passes the threshold level, the output becomes low-level, and it is applied to integrator 16 and the input of comparator 5, and integrator 16 starts integration in the reverse direction. When the input signal of comparator 5 passes the threshold level the output becomes high-level, integrator 16 starts integration in the positive direction again, and operations are returned to the initial state. |
