<p>PURPOSE:To effectively prevent air pollution by changing an exhaust gas in the form of a swirl in separation muffler to separate the gas into a gas containing black smoke, vapor, fiery particles and so forth and other gas and feeding the former separated gas through a separator to a carburetor or the like. CONSTITUTION:After passing through an exhaust pipe 9 into a recombustor 10, an exhaust gas A from an engine runs through the inside passage of a cylinder 4 and the outside passage of a cylinder 3 which are inside the recombustor 10 and is then delivered through an intermediate exhaust pipe 11 to separation muffler 12. An exhaust gas A' is swirled at high speeds in the separation muffler 12 by the effects of a gas swirling guide plate 16 and a guide plate 17 so that vapor, black smoke, smell, CO, carbon particles, fiery particles and others contained in the gas may be separated from it by a centrifugal force. A separated gas (b) guided in the centrifugal direction passes through a spacing between cylinders 15, 19 and a guide pipe 22 and is sucked into an intake pipe 7 before sent under pressure by an air pump 6 to a separator 82 which is built up in the similar fashion to the separation muffler 12. Addtionally, the gas is separated therein into a gas whch is sent to a carburetor 26 and another gas (a'') which is sent into the recombustor 10.</p> |
