<p>Suction pipes lead to a series of filter pipes in a cleaning chamber, and emerge from the vicinity of a brush, where blower pipes terminate, on a travelling machine for sweeping roads. The filter pipes (1) have air flowing through them towards the interior from outside. Open pipe ends on one side are attached to a partitioning plate (21) between cleaning chamber (23) and suction duct (22), with holes linking the filters to the latter. This duct contains a flushing air device (12), with nozzles (12a), travelling on the plate, and shaped to supply one row of apertures in the filter pipes at a time, while two adjacent rows are covered. Dust is effectively separated from filter pipes, in an automatic process.</p> |
