Flute-like electronic music teaching instrument - has two rows of four-finger keys plus one thumb key each for octave selection

A tubular shroud (1) for the electro-acoustic tone generator circuits in the interior houses a loudspeaker (4) in front and a microphone (5) and the mouthpiece in place of the flute mouth-piece. Two sets of keys (2) are provided for each of the four fingers of the hand and thumb keys (3) for transposing the eight notes of a full octave up or down. The microphone may be used for superimposing a human voice input thus widening the range of artistic expression. This instrument can be learned relatively easily since each hole or key is assigned to a certain finger. Each finger therefore becomes associated with one note only. Finger movements can be made to correspond to note movement on the staves.
