Jacquard pattern movement - has pressure ejector units controlled by data carrier

For controlled movement of mechanical parts, such as in executing a pattern with a Jacquard machine, there are a number of ejector type operating units (4) corresp. to the number of signal positions on the data carrier. A pressure and/or vacuum source is linked to the connecting channel (5) with a sensor to open or close a control channel (6) according to the signal from the data carrier (1). There is at least one operating channel (7) leading to a piston/cylinder unit or membrane, so that they can be operated in one direction or the other according to the binary go or no-go signal provided from the pattern data. The low pressure and the high reading frequency give positive sinker selection, and allow a 270 deg. weaving cycle.
