PURPOSE:To supply magnetic fluid toner to an aptitude projection section quickly even to recording at high frequency and obtain a picture having high quality by arranging magnets to a feed means supplying the magnetic fluid toner to the magnets for a projection under a specified condition. CONSTITUTION:Magnets 10 for supply are magnetized so that a plurality of N poles and S poles are formed alternately along surfaces, and the lines of magnetic force enter into and go out from each magnetic pole on the surfaces of each strip. When magnetic fluid toner 11 is attached on the supplying surfaces 19 of the supplying magnets 10, the toner 11 flows along a large number of magnetic pole changing sections 20 formed on the supplying surfaces 19. The magnetic fluid toner 11 flows under an extremely rapid condition because magnetic flux is concentrated to the magnetic pole changing sections 20 at that time. The number of feed passages (magnetic poles) required can be selected because the N poles and the S poles are alternately magnetized on the supplying surfaces 19 at intervals twice as thick as the magnets 10 even at a minimum.
