A lid for cage boxes for small experimental animals consists of a lower, collar-like part (8) which is designed in such a way that, arranged around a cage box (1), it can be guided upwards into snug contact with the outside of the cage box, and has an upward-directed annular flange (12), and of an upper, hood-shaped part (9) with an opening covered by a plate (15) consisting of an air-filtering material. The part (9) has a downward-directed annular flange (13) which can be brought into engagement with the upward-directed annular flange (12) of the collar-like part (8). The lid can be used for cage boxes of somewhat varying external dimensions and with different lid designs. <IMAGE> |
