PURPOSE:To perform diversified connection services elastically according to the need of the extension subscriber, by changing and confirming arbitrarily the line class of an arbitrary extension subscriber, which is stored in the electronic private branch exchange, by a predetermined extension subscriber. CONSTITUTION:Line classes and key words K for extension subscribers A, B and C are stored in line class storage memory LCM in main memory MM. In respect to the trunk line connection tried by subscriber A or B, central control device CC rafers to memory LCM in memory MM to decide whether this connection is permitted or not. Subscriber C transmits the signal for the purpose of changing the line class to enable to connect, for example, subscriber B to the trunk line, the line is connected to originating trunk ORT through path 4 in the network. Subscriber C transmits subsequently the line class switching special number, etc., and device CC receives them to switch the line class of subscriber B. Consequently, the line class of subscriber B is switched without troubling the private branch exchange to improve the connection service. |
