<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a water-soluble fluorescent ink having clear due, good fluorescent luminosity, and excellent storage stability, by adding a fluorescent dye to the condensation product of hydantoin (or its derivative) and an aldehyde or a ketone. CONSTITUTION:One or more of hydantoin or their derivatives of the formula (where R1 and R2 are each H or one of aliphatic or cycloaliphatic groups), e.g., methylhydantoin, phenylhydantoin, etc., and an aldehyde or a ketone are subjected to condensation reaction. And, a dye emitting fluorescence in solution state, e.g., rhodamine B, acid red XGN, etc., is added, together with a dye not emitting fluoresence, to the condensation product or the condensation reaction system to obtain an objective water-soluble fluorescent ink.</p> |
