The shower gel or other fluid body preparation is stored in a container which has over part of its outer surface a distributor in the form of a soft brush, sponge or the like. The container has at least one closable dispenser opening which opens into the distributor to release measured amounts of the fluid. A dosing chamber is pref. provided between the container and the sponge in the area of the outlet of the dispenser opening. Since the preparation is not applied directly to the skin the danger of irritation caused by the concentrated fluid is essentially removed.
