<p>The cap closure is intended for a tube or bottle etc. and has an internal screw thread (in 1). It consists of two components (1,2) of which one (1) contains the screw thread whilst the other, outer component (2) provides the external grip surface. The two components have complementary portions which fit together, e.g. a recess (in 3) in the component (2) receiving (a projection of) the component (1), and may be joined by adhesive (at 4). The projection may have one or more axial grooves engaged by complementary axial projections in the cylindrical recess (3) provided in the component (2).</p> |
