<p>The armature has a C-shaped arresting element with flexible limbs (11,12) and with ridges (8-10) on its inside. The thickness of each ridge is roughly equal to the distance between two corrugations of the piping (7). The opening (4) extending over a part of the periphery of the housing (3) is interrupted by two webs (13,14) whose distance apart (L) on the secant of the housing is equal to the outer distance (L) of the limbs of the arresting element. The screw-in piece (1) has a thread (2) and a housing (3) to accommodate the end (6) of the piping. The housing consists of a holder (26) for the arresting element and an end-stop (25) for the piping. The advantage lies in the connection's being quick to complete, insensitive to vibration and tightly sealed.</p> |
