PURPOSE:To improve the drip-proof effect of an apparatus housing box by providing a water channel between the groove and the projection formed at the fitting portions of the base and the cover respectively and making the capacity of said water channel larger as it goes downward, i.e., toward the downstream side thereof. CONSTITUTION:By making the depth of the groove 21 in the base 2 deeper as it goes downward, the capacity of the water channel 6 formed by the projection 31 of the cover 3 and the groove 21 in the base 2 is varied so as to be larger as it goes downward, i.e., toward the downstream side of the water channel 6. In said constitution, if rainwater enters from the fitting portions of the apparatus housing box 100, because the capacity of the water channel 6 is larger as it goes downward, the rainwater does not remain, but immediately flows down and is discharged from a drain port 7. Thereby, a phenomenon such as the water in the water channel 6 overflows into the inside of the apparatus housing box 100 especially at the lower part of the water channel 6 is prevented, so that a measuring instrument 1 housed inside can be securely protected. |
