Printed biscuit tin cover - has paper cover folded over three sides enclosed by welded plastics sealing sheet

The printed cover is placed on the lid of a biscuit tin filled with biscuits. It comprises a sheet of paper or cardboard previously folded, extending over three sides of the tin. The cover and the tin are then enclosed in a sealing sheet of heat-welded plastics material. The design allows production of biscuits packed in tins which can then be used for keeping oddments for domestic use.
