PURPOSE:To enhance the efficiency of a fluorescent lamp, and save the electric power and the energy for the lamp by restricting the load-bearing atomic weight and the tube inner-diameter to within given values. CONSTITUTION:The inner wall of a glass tube 1 is coated with a fluorescent-body layer 2. An electrode 3 is placed at each end of the tube 1. The inner diameter (Dmm.) of the tube 1 is adjusted to be 23.0-26.0mm., while the distance between these electrodes 3 is adjusted to be 1,104-1,130mm.. The tube 1 is charged with a mixture rare-gas with a load-bearing atomic weight of -3.2XD+132--3.2XD+ 1+142, at 2.0-3.0 Torr. |
