The assembly (2) is intended for loading bulk material into a ships hold or the like. It comprises a carrier structure (1), such as an outrigger, and a frame (5,6) in which the curved chute (7) is vertically movably (cable 14) suspended. The frame is rotatable (on 3) by motor about a vertical axis (z) relative to the carrier (1). The frame may comprise two L-shaped members (5), which are arranged to either side of the chute and connected by a cross-member (6), whilst the chute is vertically movably supported by pairs of rollers (13) in the frame. The outrigger may be swivelable about a horizontal axis.
