<p>The flange for coupling pipes together comprises a ring with a number of holes for fixing bolts and coaxial inner and outer collars at the inner and outer edges, extending in the axial direction. The ring is reinforced between the collars. Radial supporting ribs (7,8) extend between the inner (2) and outer (3) collars, at least adjacent to the bolt holes (4). The ribs can be welded to the collars, and their width can be the same as the collar height, there being one each side of each hole.</p> |
