<p>A net of insulated resistance wire is stretched parallel to a wire mesh, with top end fastened to a cable, and a second similar net stretched between this cable and another cable, in a security fence enclosing high-risk objects, with provision for setting off an electric alarm. Connection of the resistance wires to nodal points is effected by means of two identical plates (1), with the intersecting wires (7,8) clamped between them. Plates are roughly square, with two channels (2,3) running diagonally and intersecting on their interfacing inside surfaces. One channel (3) is deeper in the area of the nodal point. Channels are pref. as wide, and half as deep, as wire dia. This precludes any possibility of short-circuiting.</p> |
