Acaricidal compns. contain the Antibiotic k-41. Thus, in lab. expts. on kidney beans infested with Tetranychus cinnabarinus and T. uticae, the antibiotic sprayed at 250 ppm gave 98.1 and 97.8 % kill, resp., after 24 hr and 100 % kill after 48 hr. The effect on other mites and a number of formulations are presented.
