PURPOSE:To make it possible to use a roller which is small in its diameter and light in its weight, by making a pressure-fixing roller contact by pressure through the bearing member in a state that a part of the outside circumferential surface of the pressure-fixing roller has been fitted into the recess part of the pressure-fixing roller bearing member having a circular recess part. CONSTITUTION:The pressure plates 12, 15 of the toner image pressure-fixing device are pressed against the upper surface of the first pressure-fixing roller bearing member 4, and the lower surface of the second pressure-fixing roller receiving member 5, respectively, and the device is constituted so that the first and second pressure- fixing roller bearing members 4, 5 are placed between them. And, said first and second pressure-fixing roller bearing members 4, 5 have circular recess parts 4a, 5a, and also the fixing device has the outside circumferential surface of the same curvature as that of the circular recess part concerned, and the pressure-fixing rollers where a part of a its outside circumferential surface is fitted into the circular recess part concerned are made to contact to each other by pressure, therefore comparing with a fixing device of a type by which contact is made by pressure through the bearing of the pressure-fixing roller, a fixing roller which is small in its diameter and light in its weight can be used. |
