PURPOSE:To adapt a built-in conductive wire to a catheter having an elongated cavity by eliminating the disconnection thereof, by providing an inner diameter expanded part to a part of the cavity of the catheter and receiving the conductive wire, which has an excessive length with respect to the length in a non- stretched state of the catheter, in the catheter in a loosened state. CONSTITUTION:An inner diameter expanded part 1c slightly expanded in an inner diameter is formed to a catheter main body 1 in the vicinity of the base end thereof and conductive wires 4, 5 are excessively received in said expanded part 1c in a coil-shaped loosened state. The conductive wires 4, 5 further pass through an extended tube 2 to be led out to the outside and the base ends thereof are connected to a connector terminal 6. Since the conductive wires are received in the excessive amount sufficiently corresponding to the elongation of the catheter main body and that of the extended tube, even when the catheter main body or the extended tube is stretched carelessly at the time of handling, the conductive wires are stretched corresponding to the stretched quantity and, therefore, there is no possibility generating the disconnection of the conductive wires. |
