PURPOSE:To turn the tone arm up and down left and right, with a simple constitution through the combination of an arm drive magnet having almost spherical surface, upper and lower drive coils located correspondingly to the spherical surface, and a swing drive coil. CONSTITUTION:The tone arm drive magnet 8 has different magnetic poles on a spherical surface where it is divided into two with an arbitrary horizontal axis line orthogonal to a vertical line through the center of spherical surface. A coil bobbin 12 having the inside surface of the shape corresponding to the said spherical surface opposing to the arm drive magnet 8, is fixed, and the upper and lower driving coils and the swing drive coil are located inside the coil bobbin 12 so that it opposes with the spherical surface of the arm drive magnet 8 surface to surface. The tone arm 4 can be driven toward up and down and swing direction, which is linked with the arm drive magnet 8, through the power application to each coil. |
