PURPOSE:To realize a high-quality phase demodulation, by deciding the polarity with a priority given to a decision for presence or absence of a change of phase and then delivering a demodulated signal in case the decision of polarity has some uncertainness for the phase detected signal. CONSTITUTION:The phase modulated signal supplied to the terminal 1 is applied to the phase detector 11 and the 1-bit delay circuit 12. A phase detection is carried out for the output of the circuit 12 and the input signal to obtain a demodulted signal. This demodulated wave is supplied to two code deciding circuits 15A and 15B having different offset voltages from each other and then compared at the signal comparator 16. Then the correcting circuit 17 is actuated only when no coincidence is recognized through the above comparison, and thus the demodulated wave is delivered to the terminal 2. For the control signal of the circuit 17, the input signal is compounded with the 1-bit delayed signal at the compounding circuit 13. Then the phase variation inforamation obtained through a phas variation information generator circuit consisting of the level detection circuit 14 is used. |
