VOLTAGE CONTROL TYPE OSCILLATOR FOR PLL FREQUENCY SYNTHESIZER

PURPOSE:To compensate the variance of a capacitance element, by connecting a voltage variable capacity diode in parallel or series to the capacitance element for decision of oscillation frequency and then applying the DC voltage outside of an oscillator to the diode. CONSTITUTION:The external control voltage to be applied to the terminal 27 is set at the reference voltage, and the voltage setting variable resistor 24 is operated to decide the frequency control voltage which is applied to the voltage variable capacity diode 23. The output oscillation frequency is controlled only by the external control voltage. In such way, the variance is compensated for the oscillation frequency deciding capacitance elements 8-13 plus the inductance element 14 by adding the diode 23 for control of frequency.
