<p>The lath can be made of wood, metal or plastics as long as it is thin enough to penetrate the existing mesh of the screen. The finished screen can be used to conceal areas to obtain privacy or can be used as a wind break, and when it is used as the latter, some wind is allowed to penetrate the gaps to lessen the force upon the screen. If the material is plastics it can be made opaque, it can be made in one or several colours and it can be produced by any machine used for extruding plastics material.</p> |
