The device has a constant pressure gas source, allowing dispensing connected to the spraying head for a controlled time interval in accordance with the required dosing. The communication between the gas source and the spraying head is controlled by an electro magnetic valve receiving a control pulse of a predetermined duration, or a selected number of control pulses of fixed duration. The spraying device is used for small quantities of pharmaceutical powders for test studies of assisted pollination to give a dosing accuracy of within 10 per cent.
