DEVICE FOR HOLDING SEQUENTIALLY RELASABLY A PLURALITY OF PINS

PURPOSE:To facilitate insertion of a pin into a through hole in a printed circuit substrate only by lowering and making the pin contact a predetermined through hole after the end of the pin is projected from a releasing port of a nozzle body which is aligned with the through hole. CONSTITUTION:A converging nozzle body 29 is provided with a bored space 70 adapted to receve longitudinally a plurality of pins 13 and a pin releasing port 14 formed in one end of the space 70 to release sequentially the pins 13. The lowermost pin 13 of these pins 13 is pressed resiliently and releasably against the inside wall surface of the space 70 by a spring 75 and one end of the lowermost pin 13 is projected by a predetermined length from the pin releasing port 14. Under this condition, after the releasing port 14 is aligned with a predetermined through hole 16 in a printed circuit substrate 15, the nozzle body 29 is moved close to the predetermined through hole 16 to insert the pin 13 into the through hole 16 and release the pin 13 from the nozzle body 29.
