PURPOSE:To prevent the deformation of a slot insulator and the damage of coil by a method wherein a pin is arranged between a coil end portion and an iron core, and a mandrel is arranged on the inside diameter side of the inside coil end portion, and then the coil end portion is molded with pressure. CONSTITUTION:A circular groove 8a is provided to position an iron core 3 in a lower mold 8, while the plural number of pins 11 have been implanted in suitable positions in such a way that internal and external coil end portions 2a and 2b are located outside the pin 11 when the iron core 3 of a stator is engaged with the circular groove 8a. In addition, after inserting a mandrel 9 into the portion on the inside diameter side of the inside coil end portion 2a, and thence after descending an upper mold 10 having a circular groove 10a from upward with pressure, the molding work is completed where the end portion of the pin 11 touches the lower surface of the circular groove 10a. By so doing, the coil end portion can be molded in parallel with the periphery of the iron core, and this prevents the damage of the coil and the deformation of the insulator. |
