PURPOSE:To make longer the service life of pickup stylus, by avoiding peeling-off of electrodes, through embedding of electrodes to the base of a pickup stylus. CONSTITUTION:In a pickup stylus 1-1, an electrode 3-1 is embedded in the groove 10 provided at one side 5 almost perpendicular to the sliding surface 4 to the recording medium of the base 2-1, and the end 6-1 is finished so that it is at the same plane as the sliding plane 4. This terminal 6-1 acts as the signal detection from the recording medium such as video disc mainly. |
