The invention consists of a sandwich element of concrete with one outer layer 7 of concrete, thin in relation to the thickness of the element, one insulation layer 11 adjoining that, and one inner layer 20 of concrete adjoining the insulation, thick in relation to the outer layer. The outer layer 7 is connected to the inner layer 20 by means of a number of thread or band-shaped connectors 8 which reach perpendicularly through the insulation layer 11 and are anchored in both the outer and inner layers 7, 20.
