PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a secondary battery that can avoid coating failure of paste for forming an active material layer.SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing an electrode for a secondary battery contains: kneading a high aspect ratio member 12 having an average aspect ratio of 3 or more, fine particle active material 10 having a smaller average primary particle diameter than the average particle diameter (D50) of the high aspect ratio member 12, binder and solvent while shear force is applied so that the high aspect ratio member is rotated, thereby preparing paste for forming an active material layer; and coating the paste for forming the active material layer on a collector to form an active material layer.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
