A mooring and towing arrangement 1 for a dinghy 4 of a motor boat or sail boat 5 consists of an attachment part 2 which is joined to the dinghy and is in the form of a stirrup 2a which merges into a shaft 2b. The latter is mounted rotatably in a widened resilient portion 3a of a holder part 3 which, at its end, has a bearing element 3c for pivotable arrangement on, for example, a pin 6a of an escape ladder 6 arranged at the stern of the sail boat or motor boat 5. The arrangement permits reliable mooring of the dinghy 4 to the boat 5 and further permits reliable towing of the dinghy when travelling at low speed into or out of harbour, without risk of engine breakdown as a result of the dinghy's tow-line becoming entangled in the boat's propeller. <IMAGE> |
