The skin of an inflatable craft includes portions having an inner layer welded inside an outer layer forming a pocket for a thin solid core. At anchorage points on the hull structure, the same principal can be used, where a flat member forming the base of a threated rod used as an anchorage, is enclosed between an inner layer and an outer layer. The pocket between them can be filled with rubber. The rod can be used to carry a ring for mooring etc., and fitted with a lock nut and washer. A spacing washer can be included between the outer layer and the ring. Alternatively, the flat base which can be separate from the threaded rod can carry a rubber layer and be directly accessible from the inside of the single skin.
|
