PURPOSE:To receive no information, which becomes noise, to improve S/N even if the information read light is slipped from the recording part, by providing recording parts, which absorb the light more effectively than other parts, at fixed intervals on the magnetic recording layer consisting of the amorphous magnetic thin film. CONSTITUTION:Magnetic recording layer 2 consisting of the amorphous magnetic thin film is provided on supporting material 1 formed with glass and synthetic resin, and dot-form light absorption promoting layers 3 consisting of GeS, SnS, PbI2, and so on are arranged at fixed intervals on the recording track, and parts where these promoting layers 3 are arranged are used as recording parts 3', and parts between recording parts 3' are used as nonrecording parts 4. As a result, since recording parts 3' absorb write light 5 effectively and this absorbed heat is used effectively for recording parts 3', information is written by the light of small energy. |
