PURPOSE:To obtain a thin film head which has good reliability and dampproof and weather resistant properties, by constituting a part of the first magnetic circuit and a part of the second magnetic circuit by the thin film and the bulk respectively and by performing lead taking-out by magnetic coupling. CONSTITUTION:Substrate 1 is formed by magnetic substance materials such as ferrite, and the first magnetic circuit which is provided on the mirror polished face of nonmagnetic substance substrate 1 and passes the part around groove 2 filled up with the nonmagnetic substance and includes magnetic gap 3 is formed by substrate 1 and the first magnetic substance layer 5. Conductor coil 4 is provided which crosses the first magnetic circuit on groove 2. This first coil 4 forms a closed loop on substrate 1 and crosses the second magnetic circuit in the part separated from recording medium slide face 9. The second magnetic circuit consists of substrate 1, magnetic substance thin film 6 provided on substrate 1, and core material 7, and core material 7 is formed by the bulk such as ferrite. Core material 7 is coupled with substrate 1 magnetically through magnetic substance thin film 6. |
